Questions 1-5: Identifying information

[This question asks you to find information from the passage and write the number of the paragraph (A, B, C or D … .. ) in the answer sheet. Now, if the question is given in the very first part of the question set, I’d request you not to answer them. It’s mainly because this question will not follow any sequence, and so it will surely kill your time. Rather, you should answer all the other questions first. And just like List of Headings, only read the first two lines or last two lines of the expected paragraph initially. If you find the answers, you need not read the middle part. If you don’t find answers yet, you can skim the middle part of the paragraph. Keywords will be a useful matter here.]

Question 1: You can’t eat at this restaurant on Monday evening.

In advertisement B (Jack’s Traditional and American Restaurant), take a look at the final point, where the timing for lunch and dinner is given. It says,

“ LUNCHTIMES: TUESDAY – SATURDAY, EVENINGS: WEDNESDAY – SATURDAY.”

Here, EVENINGS: WEDNESDAY – SATURDAY means people can eat here from Wednesday to Saturday, NOT on MONDAY.

So, the answer is: B

Question 2: You can have a meal here in peaceful country surroundings.

In advertisement A (CHANGTOM Thai Restaurant and Hotel), have a look at bullet point no. 10,

So, the answer is: A               

Question 3: You can eat here on a Sunday night.

In advertisement E (PEKING HOUSE Restaurant and Takeaway), take a look at the timetable,

SUNDAY: Lunchtime – closed, Evening – 5-11 pm

Here, Evening – 5-11 pm = people can eat here on a Sunday night,

Question 4: You can have your order delivered for an extra fee.

In advertisement C (MOGHUL EXPRESS Indian Takeaway), take a close look at point no. 4,

“HOME DELIVERY SERVICE WITHIN A 4-MILE RADIUS OF OUR TAKEAWAY – SMALL CHARGE.”  

Here, SMALL CHARGE = people can have their order delivered for a small extra charge,  

So, the answer is: C    

Question 5: You can have dinner here and then stay the night.

Questions 6-14:  Identifying information

Here, audience participation = participants can take part, concert = public performance,
